Easy Weeknight Stuffed Peppers

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Mash ground beef with baking soda and salt. Let sit for 20 minutes.

Slice peppers in half, removing seeds and membranes. Roast peppers for 20 minutes.

Cook onions and garlic in a skillet.

Brown ground beef with spices.

Add tomato sauce, rice, and some cheese to the skillet. Cook until rice is cooked.

Spoon filling into peppers.

Top with remaining cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Serve.
