The Perfect Homemade Funnel Cakes

In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until just combined.

Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Transfer batter to a piping bag fitted with a coupler and a Wilton #32 decorating tip.

Pipe the batter into the hot oil in a circular motion, starting in the center and working your way out.

Fry the funnel cakes for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Drain on wire racks.

Dust with powdered sugar or your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
